Delanie Ferguson focuses her practice on supporting the firm’s construction defect, insurance defense, and subrogation practices. She is expressly focused on helping firm clients and colleagues alike to achieve the right outcome under even the most difficult circumstances.
Dedicated to helping firm clients through difficult disputes, Delanie thrives in conducting extensive legal research and in executing legal writing that is persuasive, concise, easily understood, and leaves little room for doubt. Delanie is appreciated by everyone around her for her work ethic, sincerity, and dedication to providing exceptional work product and real-time responsiveness.
A pragmatist at heart, Delanie approaches supporting case management, development, and litigation in a manner that conserves client resources, maximizes the potential for immediate resolution, and minimizes the acrimony inherent in litigation. In or out of court, Delanie believes in providing advocacy and legal solutions that make sense for each client’s specific business objectives.
Prior to joining MSM, Delanie was an attorney at Rhode Island’s largest family law firm representing clients in complex divorce, custody, and child support matters. Delanie was also a Rule 9 student attorney for the Rhode Island Center for Justice representing individuals facing eviction and housing discrimination, and a legal intern at the Cascade County Law Clinic assisting individuals in divorce and custody matters. These opportunities, gained early on in her career, helped establish Delanie as a compassionate advisor while also providing the requisite and hands-on training needed to serve firm clients productively and efficiently.
